Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Truelyna.

Effective date: May 8, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Truelyna. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Truelyna’s wedding planning platform, website, AI tools, wedding website features, export tools, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account, accessing the Services, purchasing a paid plan, or using any part of the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

2. Service Provider

Kevin Schändl

3. Intended Market

Truelyna is currently intended and marketed primarily for customers in the United States.

Because the service provider is located in Austria, certain Austrian and European legal requirements may still apply to Truelyna as the provider of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your jurisdiction.

4. Description of the Services

Truelyna is a digital wedding planning platform designed to help couples plan, organize, write, design, and manage wedding-related information.

Depending on your plan and the available features, the Services may include:

  • wedding planning dashboard
  • guest management
  • RSVP tracking
  • budget planning
  • task management
  • timeline planning
  • vendor notes
  • seating chart tools
  • moodboard features
  • guestbook features
  • wedding website creation, preview, hosting, or export
  • AI-powered writing assistance
  • AI-powered planning suggestions
  • PDF, HTML, ZIP, or other export features
  • local storage and offline functionality
  • subscription-based premium features

Truelyna is a software platform and does not act as a professional wedding planner, legal advisor, financial advisor, tax advisor, medical advisor, psychological advisor, relationship advisor, or other professional service provider.

The Services are provided for organizational, planning, creative, and informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, legal, financial, tax, medical, psychological, relationship, or other professional advice.

We may add, modify, limit, suspend, or remove features from time to time.

5. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account, purchase a paid plan, or use paid features.

By using the Services, you confirm that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

The Services are not intended for children.

6. Account Registration

To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must contact us immediately at: info@truelyna.com

7. Account Sharing

A Truelyna account is intended for use by the registered account holder and, where applicable, the couple planning the wedding.

You may not sell, rent, share, transfer, sublicense, or provide unauthorized access to your account to third parties.

You may not make your account available to unrelated third parties, agencies, commercial users, or other people who are not part of the wedding planning account.

We may use reasonable technical and security measures to detect suspicious login activity, excessive device usage, abuse, fraud, or unauthorized account sharing.

We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that an account is being misused or shared in violation of these Terms.

8. User Content

“User Content” means any content, information, files, images, text, wedding data, guest data, prompts, messages, notes, designs, guestbook entries, RSVP responses, wedding website content, or other materials that you create, upload, submit, store, publish, export, or generate through the Services.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

By using the Services, you grant Truelyna a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, transmit, and use your User Content solely as necessary to provide, maintain, secure, operate, support, and improve the Services.

You are responsible for your User Content and for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, permissions, and lawful bases to upload, store, publish, export, or share it.

You agree that your User Content will not violate any applicable law, infringe the rights of others, or contain unlawful, harmful, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, abusive, or infringing material.

9. Wedding Data and Guest Information

Truelyna may allow you to create and manage wedding-related information, including guest lists, RSVP details, seating plans, guestbook entries, wedding website content, guest notes, dietary preferences, messages, timelines, and related data.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to collect, enter, store, publish, export, or manage information about guests or other individuals.

If you publish guest-related information on a wedding website, PDF, HTML export, invitation, guestbook, or other output, you are responsible for reviewing the content before sharing it.

You agree not to upload, publish, or share personal information of others in a way that violates applicable privacy laws or the rights of others.

You are responsible for handling guest information respectfully, lawfully, and only for wedding-related purposes.

10. Data Processing for Guest Data

Where applicable under data protection law, including the GDPR, you may act as the controller of guest data that you enter, collect, or manage through the Services, and Truelyna may act as a processor or service provider for such data.

You instruct Truelyna to process guest data only as necessary to provide the Services, including guest management, RSVP, seating chart, guestbook, wedding website, storage, security, support, and export features.

We may use trusted service providers and sub-processors as described in our Privacy Policy.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect guest data.

Where reasonably possible and legally required, we will assist you with data-subject requests relating to guest data processed through the Services.

We do not sell guest data.

We do not share guest data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not knowingly use guest data to train public AI models.

If you invite a partner to your wedding workspace, you and your partner are responsible for how you jointly manage, access, edit, export, or delete wedding data within that workspace.

Truelyna is not responsible for disputes between partners, family members, guests, vendors, or other individuals regarding wedding data or access to a wedding workspace.

11. Wedding Website Features

Truelyna may allow you to create, preview, host, publish, export, or share wedding website content.

Depending on your plan and available features, wedding websites may be generated as static HTML exports, hosted online pages, private previews, or public wedding pages.

If you export a wedding website as HTML, you are responsible for how and where you host, upload, publish, send, or share that file.

We are not responsible for third-party hosting providers, domain providers, website builders, file-sharing platforms, email clients, browsers, or other external services that you use outside Truelyna.

You are responsible for reviewing all wedding website content before sharing it with guests or the public.

We do not guarantee that exported wedding websites will work in every browser, device, hosting environment, email client, or third-party platform.

Public wedding websites may remain available during an active paid plan where supported by the Services.

After a paid plan ends, public wedding websites may remain available in a read-only or archive mode where technically supported. However, Truelyna may limit, disable, unpublish, or remove public wedding website access after the paid access period ends, with reasonable notice where practical.

RSVP collection and interactive guest submissions may be disabled after the RSVP deadline, after the wedding date, after the end of paid access, when the account enters Memory Archive mode, or where required for security, abuse prevention, privacy, or legal reasons.

We reserve the right to remove, restrict, or disable public wedding website content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights, privacy rights, security requirements, or the rights of others.

12. AI Features

Truelyna may include AI-powered features, such as writing assistance, planning recommendations, invitation text generation, vow drafts, thank-you messages, guest messages, website text, timelines, moodboard-related suggestions, or similar tools.

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, repetitive, non-unique, or unsuitable for your specific situation.

AI-generated content may resemble common wording, publicly available patterns, or outputs generated for other users.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is unique, copyrightable, legally compliant, emotionally appropriate, or suitable for your specific wedding, guests, culture, family situation, or personal circumstances.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying AI-generated content before relying on it, publishing it, sending it, printing it, or sharing it with others.

AI features are provided for convenience and creative assistance only.

AI-generated content does not constitute legal, financial, medical, professional, psychological, tax, relationship, or personal advice.

You agree not to submit highly sensitive personal information to AI features unless necessary for your intended use.

You are responsible for ensuring that any AI-generated text, recommendation, or output is appropriate for your wedding, guests, and personal circumstances.

13. Free Preview and Promotions

Truelyna may offer a limited Free Preview that allows users to explore selected parts of the Services before purchasing a paid plan.

The Free Preview is not a full paid plan.

The Free Preview may include limitations such as restricted editing, limited AI usage, limited demo content, no wedding website publishing, no PDF or HTML exports, no partner access, no premium downloads, and no access to selected premium features.

A Free Preview does not automatically convert into a paid subscription unless this is clearly disclosed before purchase and you expressly agree to paid billing terms.

We may offer discounts or promotional offers from time to time. The terms of any promotion will be disclosed at the time of the offer.

We may modify, limit, or discontinue Free Preview access or promotional offers at any time.

14. Paid Plans

Truelyna may offer paid plans, including one-time access plans, recurring monthly subscriptions, premium features, add-ons, or other paid services.

Current or future paid plans may include, for example:

  • Wedding Pass
  • Premium Monthly
  • other premium plans or add-ons

The exact pricing, billing terms, included features, access duration, renewal terms, cancellation options, and limitations will be shown at checkout or inside the Services.

15. Wedding Pass

The Wedding Pass is a one-time purchase that grants twelve (12) months of full paid access from the date of purchase, unless a different period is clearly stated at checkout.

The Wedding Pass does not automatically renew.

We may send reminder emails before Wedding Pass access ends.

After the Wedding Pass expires, your account may enter Memory Archive mode as described in these Terms.

The Wedding Pass is not lifetime access.

The Wedding Pass does not guarantee permanent public hosting, permanent availability of all features, unlimited storage, unlimited AI usage, or permanent access to third-party services.

16. Premium Monthly Subscription

Premium Monthly is a recurring monthly subscription that automatically renews until canceled.

By purchasing Premium Monthly, you authorize us or our payment provider to charge the applicable recurring fees, taxes, and other charges at the billing frequency disclosed at checkout.

Unless canceled before the renewal date, the Premium Monthly subscription will automatically renew for another billing period.

You may cancel your Premium Monthly subscription according to the cancellation options available inside the Services, through the billing portal where available, or by contacting us at: info@truelyna.com

Cancellation stops future renewal charges.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, unused subscription time, partial months, or renewal charges that have already been processed, unless required by applicable law.

You may continue to access paid features until the end of the paid billing period, unless your account is terminated for violation of these Terms.

17. Automatic Renewal Notice

If you purchase a recurring subscription, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

The subscription price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be disclosed before purchase.

By completing your purchase, you agree to the subscription and automatic renewal terms presented at checkout.

You are responsible for canceling your subscription before the next renewal date if you do not want to be charged again.

Where required by applicable law, we may send renewal reminders or notices before renewal.

18. California Subscription Notice

If you are a California resident and purchase a recurring subscription, your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Before purchase, we will disclose the subscription price, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation method, and any other required automatic renewal terms.

By purchasing a recurring subscription, you expressly agree to the automatic renewal terms displayed at checkout.

You may cancel online through your account settings or billing portal where available, or by contacting us at: info@truelyna.com

Cancellation stops future renewal charges.

You may continue using paid features until the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise stated or required by law.

19. Payments

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe.

We do not store full credit card numbers or complete payment card details on our own servers.

Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and for keeping your payment method updated.

If a payment fails, we may suspend or limit access to paid features until payment is completed.

20. Pricing Transparency

We aim to display subscription prices and paid feature prices clearly before checkout.

Mandatory charges, excluding taxes imposed by law, will be disclosed before purchase.

Taxes may vary depending on your location and will be shown where applicable during checkout.

We do not intentionally advertise prices that cannot be obtained because of undisclosed mandatory fees.

Prices shown on the website or inside the Services may change from time to time.

We reserve the right to change our pricing, subscription plans, paid feature fees, included features, or billing structure upon notice.

For recurring subscriptions, any price change will take effect at the start of the next billing period following the notice, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

If you do not agree to a price change for a recurring subscription, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.

21. Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring subscription according to the cancellation options available inside the Services, through the billing portal where available, or by contacting us at: info@truelyna.com

Cancellation will stop future renewal charges.

Unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout, cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

You may continue to access paid features until the end of the paid subscription period, unless your account is terminated for violation of these Terms.

Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or your wedding planning data. You may request account deletion separately as described in the Privacy Policy or inside the Services where available.

22. Refunds

Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated at checkout, all payments are final and non-refundable.

The Wedding Pass is a one-time purchase that grants twelve (12) months of access from the date of purchase. Once access to the Services has been provided, the Wedding Pass is non-refundable unless a mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.

Premium Monthly subscriptions can be canceled at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not provide a refund for the current billing period, unused subscription time, partial months, or renewal charges that have already been processed, unless required by applicable law.

We do not provide refunds for:

  • failure to use the Services
  • change of mind after purchase
  • user error
  • unused subscription time
  • partial billing periods
  • canceled subscriptions after renewal
  • loss of local data caused by clearing browser storage, uninstalling the app, changing devices, or changing browser settings
  • dissatisfaction with AI-generated content, templates, exports, or generated materials after access has been provided
  • failure to download, export, publish, or save materials before canceling or deleting an account
  • limitations caused by third-party services, browsers, devices, hosting providers, or payment providers

This refund policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that may apply in your jurisdiction.

23. EU, EEA, UK, and Swiss Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, you may have statutory rights that cannot be excluded by these Terms.

For certain online purchases, consumers may have a statutory right of withdrawal.

For digital content or digital services, the right of withdrawal may be limited or may end if you expressly request immediate access or performance before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you may lose your withdrawal right, where permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection law.

24. Memory Archive

When a paid plan ends, whether because a Wedding Pass expires or a Premium Monthly subscription is canceled, your account may enter Memory Archive mode where supported by the Services.

Memory Archive mode is a read-only mode.

In Memory Archive mode, you may be able to view your wedding planning data, guest lists, budgets, tasks, timelines, moodboards, seating plans, guestbook content, AI-generated drafts, wedding website content, and other saved materials.

In Memory Archive mode, you may be able to download available exports, subject to technical limitations, security rules, rate limits, and feature availability.

In Memory Archive mode, you cannot create or edit content, add new guests, create new AI generations, publish new wedding websites, collect new RSVPs, create new premium exports, invite new partners, or use paid planning features unless you reactivate a paid plan.

Memory Archive access is intended to remain available for as long as your account exists and Truelyna continues to offer archive functionality.

We may introduce reasonable storage limits, archive limitations, or retention rules in the future, with notice where required by law.

Deleting your account permanently deletes your account and associated data, subject to legal, tax, security, backup, and technical retention requirements described in our Privacy Policy.

25. Reactivation

If your account is in Memory Archive mode, you may be able to reactivate paid access by purchasing a new paid plan or subscription where available.

After reactivation, editing and paid features may be restored according to the plan you purchase.

We do not guarantee that all previously available features, templates, AI models, export formats, or third-party integrations will remain available after reactivation.

26. Canadian Users

If you are located in Canada, your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information under applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA where applicable.

We aim to provide clear pricing information before checkout.

Mandatory fees, excluding applicable taxes imposed by law, will be disclosed before purchase.

Your personal information may be processed by service providers located outside Canada, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your province or territory.

27. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation
  • infringe the rights of others
  • upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or misleading content
  • upload content that you do not have the right to use
  • misuse guest data or personal information of others
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services
  • interfere with or disrupt the security or performance of the Services
  • reverse engineer, scrape, copy, decompile, or misuse the Services
  • use the Services to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • share, sell, rent, sublicense, or transfer account access
  • use AI features to create harmful, deceptive, illegal, infringing, discriminatory, or misleading content
  • use the Services to build, train, or support a competing product or service
  • remove, obscure, or modify proprietary notices in the Services
  • upload malware, harmful code, or content designed to disrupt the Services
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with another person
  • publish private information about another person without permission
  • use the Services in a way that creates legal, security, operational, or reputational risk for Truelyna

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

28. Intellectual Property

Truelyna, including its name, logo, design, software, user interface, workflows, features, branding, text, graphics, templates, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works based on the Services unless expressly permitted by us in writing.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of Truelyna or any intellectual property rights in the Services.

All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Truelyna.

29. Templates, Exports, and Generated Materials

Truelyna may provide templates, text suggestions, AI-generated drafts, design layouts, wedding website exports, PDFs, HTML files, ZIP files, print designs, or similar materials.

You retain ownership of your specific User Content, such as your own names, guest information, uploaded images, wedding details, personal text, and other content you provide.

The underlying templates, designs, layouts, software structures, workflows, branding, and system-generated formats remain the intellectual property of Truelyna or its licensors.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use, download, print, share, and publish generated wedding materials, including PDFs and wedding website exports, for your personal, non-commercial wedding planning purposes.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, copy, modify, or use Truelyna templates, layouts, exports, or generated materials as part of a competing product, template marketplace, commercial design service, wedding planning service, or software service.

You are responsible for reviewing generated or exported materials before using, publishing, printing, sending, hosting, or sharing them.

We do not guarantee that templates, AI outputs, or generated materials are error-free, unique, legally compliant, or suitable for your specific needs.

30. Local Storage and Backups

Some features may store data locally on your device to support offline functionality and faster performance.

Local data may be lost if you clear browser storage, delete app data, uninstall the app, change devices, use unsupported browsers, or change device settings.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of important wedding information, exports, PDFs, HTML files, ZIP files, guest data, AI drafts, and other materials.

We are not responsible for loss of data caused by user action, device failure, browser settings, third-party services, or events outside our reasonable control.

31. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on or integrate with third-party providers, such as hosting providers, database providers, authentication providers, payment processors, email providers, AI providers, analytics providers, diagnostics providers, security providers, or other infrastructure services.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, platforms, outages, errors, security incidents, data loss, policy changes, model changes, pricing changes, or service interruptions.

32. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.

33. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable Services, but we do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

The Services may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party outages, security events, payment provider issues, AI provider issues, hosting provider issues, or circumstances outside our control.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit any part of the Services at any time.

34. Beta Features

We may offer beta, experimental, preview, or early-access features.

Such features may be incomplete, unstable, inaccurate, unavailable, or changed without notice.

You use beta features at your own risk.

35. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Services if:

  • you violate these Terms
  • payment fails
  • we detect abuse, fraud, suspicious activity, or unauthorized account sharing
  • we are required to do so by law
  • continued access creates risk for Truelyna, users, guests, service providers, or third parties

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. We may delete or restrict access to your account data after termination, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Termination for violation of these Terms does not entitle you to a refund unless required by applicable law.

36. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account where available inside the Services or by contacting us at: info@truelyna.com

Account deletion may permanently delete your account, wedding planning data, guest data, partner access, wedding websites, RSVP responses, guestbook entries, uploaded files, AI drafts, subscriptions records inside the Services, and related materials, subject to legal, tax, accounting, security, backup, and fraud-prevention retention requirements.

After account deletion, exports, wedding websites, guestbook content, RSVP links, and Memory Archive access may no longer be available.

You are responsible for exporting any materials you wish to keep before deleting your account.

37. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that:

  • the Services will meet your expectations
  • the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, unique, lawful, or suitable
  • wedding planning outputs will be complete or correct
  • third-party services will remain available

  • local storage data will always remain available
  • templates or generated outputs will comply with all laws, customs, expectations, or personal requirements
  • wedding websites will remain publicly available forever
  • Memory Archive functionality will remain unchanged forever

38. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Truelyna and its owner, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data loss, business interruption, emotional distress, reputational harm, loss of goodwill, or costs related to wedding planning decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Services will be limited to the amount you paid to Truelyna for the Services during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such cases, the limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

39. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Truelyna, its owner, service providers, and partners from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • your use of the Services
  • your User Content
  • your violation of these Terms
  • your violation of applicable law
  • your misuse of guest data or personal information
  • your infringement of third-party rights
  • your publication or sharing of wedding website content, exports, or AI-generated content
  • your use of generated materials outside the permitted scope
  • disputes between you and your partner, guests, vendors, family members, or other individuals regarding wedding planning data or wedding website content

40. Changes to the Services

We may change, improve, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.

We may also update pricing, plans, features, access rules, storage rules, AI limits, export options, subscription terms, or archive rules.

If we make material changes that affect your paid subscription, we will provide notice where required by law.

41. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we update these Terms, we will revise the effective date.

If changes are material, we may notify you through the Services, by email, or by other appropriate means.

Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services and, if applicable, cancel your subscription.

42. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict of law rules.

If you are a consumer, this does not limit any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your country, state, province, or jurisdiction of residence.

43. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us first at: info@truelyna.com

We will try to resolve the issue in good faith.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled by the competent courts as determined under applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer.

44. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced in a way that most closely reflects the original intent, to the extent permitted by law.

45. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms shown at checkout or inside the Services, form the entire agreement between you and Truelyna regarding the Services.
